Ayngaran hunts for a director for Ajith

The renowned Ayngaran International has signed Ajith, Prabhu Deva and Vxxxx for their future projects. Ajith after completing Billa 2007 would be starting a project for the production house from December 2007 for which a suitable director is being sought.

The combination of Ajith and Prabhu Deva would be something new in Kollywood, but the latter is currently busy in Bollywood directing Salman Khan in the Hindi version of Pxxxxx, which is likely to get completed next year. Meanwhile commercial directors like K S Ravikumar, Lingusamy, Hari and Saran are also being considered. However Ravikumar's first preference would be to direct Rajinikanth for which talks are said to be going on. Hari plans to do a movie with Bharath after Vel, while Lingusamy has few projects in his mind, one of them being a script for Paruthiveeran Karthik. Saran seems to be more likely to bag the offer, with his story for Kamal being shelved for the time being.
